My journey as a lettering artist:

I remember sitting in my chair in fourth grade, hearing my name being awarded for “Best Handwriting in the Class.” In high school, I was voted “Most Creative." I have grown up loving the arts. While I was a student at Baylor University, a friend introduced me to the work of world-renowned calligrapher, Timothy Botts. Little did I know that for the next twenty years, I would correspond with him, gleaning from his mentoring. 

Living in Nashville has opened up many avenues to work with such a wide range of clientele from celebrities to ministries to wonderful friends and businesses. After fifteen years of networking and building a name for my hand-lettering, I decided to begin the process of taking my talents to the next level. At dinner with some friends one evening, the name of my company was announced and The English Letter was born. 

The English Letter is a premier design company that specializes in the art of beautiful lettering to hand-lettered stationery/ note cards, scripture, songs for artists and addressing for weddings and events.
